im guessing it is safe. iv herd gl-5 based oil can cause problems is that true ?

hi guys just wanna get this off my mind i'm using penrite smoothe shift 75w-90 it says its gl-5 but can use where gl-4 oil is use iv heard gl-5 isn't good for these boxed is that right ? i hope its ok because it shifts nice and the gearbox goes better theres a link to what im useing http://www.penriteoil.com.au/products.php?id_categ=4&id_products=380

i did actually check the car out be for posting this nothing looked loose or seemed loose but when i jacked it up again i notice a loose part. all is good now

today i was looking for loose parts i found 2 both the lower ball joints the nuts had come loose and were resting on the split pins so i tightened them up and used new split pins took it for a drive all is good now

iv checked all my suspension bolts im going to double check tho i will check the car over tomorrow and post up what i find

iv been doing research on other forums and the thing that describes this problem the best is a tramlining issue apparently a issue with the caster

i did take it to the tyre shop and got the alignment checked all was good

it was ok untill i took it to someone to do some electrical work then was all over the joint from then tomorrow im going to look over the suspension iv got some knowledge on that stuff as im am a apprentice mechanic

today while driving it was wandering on the road left and back to centers for how far i move the wheel only about 3 degrees or so and it darts it is dangerous to drive no never had a issue from swapping from car to car

Hi my skyline has recently been sharply going into left corners iv checked tyre pressures and got wheel alignment check that all checked out fine so what could it be it has new tie rods and rack bushes so it cant be those could it be any thing else ?

hey im just curious how to hook up the timeing light can i use a standered one for a ht lead and modify it to work on a coil or not ?

Thanks again for the info do i need to purchase a tunable ecu ore use the current turbo one i have lying around and will a front mount be better that the stock side mount for turbo conversion -
