  1. 93 r32GTR Stock unopened engine GT2859R-9s with Garrett wastegates ID injectors Aeromotive pump HKS cam gears, very small adjustment Vi-pec plug in ecu nicest feeling tune yet, car drives just like factory with awesome response and good shove. Far better tune than previous places have managed. Went from 5s to this setup and couldn't be happier. No sense at all the car even has modifications until u get into it. 298kw at all 4- 19psi, 98 octane, on a stinking hot day tuned at GT auto garage

Recently took my 32gtr to Lakeside track day, while under hard cornering the steering occasionally became very suddenly heavy( which in turn ruins your line, and doesn't exactly inspire confidence too keep pushing....). As though the power steering momentarily disappears, then it comes good after a second or so. More recently while reverse parking/tight slow corning, the steering has become ridiculously heavy. P/S fluid is good, no Hicas light appears either. Although the Hicas pump whines every 5 min or so. This happens frequently but not all the time. So its like this~ out having fun fast cornering- SURPRISE no power steering feeling mid corner/ very hard to man handle the car off a set trajectory. Any ideas would be great cuz while this is happening im not enjoying driving too much.

  6. Hi all, story is went to Lakeside for first time attack day in my r32 gtr. Straight away i noticed that under heavy breaking and cornering that i really had to fight the steering hard, it felt as though it would not turn in because it suddenly became really heavy. As though no power steering feeling. It did cause a few awkward lines into some corners and a bit of under-steer and certainly didn't fill me with confidence to keep pushing, strange but then for some corners the steering was light and direct how it should be. No sounds or wineing from p/s pump either. Car still has HICAS and some people at the circuit said it was from the hydraulic fluid for the HICAS not returning quick enough.. if anyone could shed some light or has had this issue please let me know what can be done
  7. hey man did u end up finding out what was causing this...? i went to a time attack day yesterday and under heavy breaking the steering became stupidly heavy.

    Hi mate I havent been to a track day in Australia before and would love to get my r32 GTR out to see what its like at Lakeside. Is there any room left ? and what are the exact requirements for attending and driving- rules, regs etc. Also where to I obtain a licence for the day? thanks

  12. hi all, few months ago i purchaced a clean as r32 gtr v-spec 93 model. It came with 18 inch bbs wheels, usual brembos , thicker strut braces, full exhaust from front pipe back, and awesome Aragosta coilovers :). So far all iv done is replace the spark plugs, all bushes are new and compression check the motor which came up all really close, and remove the boost restrictor which suprisingly made a nice difference Next mod im getting is some dba motorsport slotted disks and project mu pads, then some front camber arms:) At the moment im looking at getting a new frontpipe and some aftermarket split dump pipes while im in there. Was wondering if anyone knows of a brand of front pipe which sits relatively high under the chassis and doesnt cost a fortune?? Not after titanium as its way to $$$. The front pipe i have at the moment sits a bit on the illigal side and im not after anymore defects. Im also chasing some nismo LMGT1, LMGT2, LMGT4 or BBS-lm wheels as id love to be running a set of any of these in 18x10 but they seem real difficult to come across a decent set in gtr size. Also wondering if anyone knows what benifits if any are to be had by getting a stainless steel exhaust manifold on the standard turbos. heres a pic to show which i dont wanna have to wind those coilovers up despite the exhaust being 7 cm of the ground
