Can any R35 owners out there, please tell me It is normal? or I've done something wrong? and How to overcome it? My problem: My R35 won't allow me to manually upshift under full throttle after Upshift Indicator's Red Light has come on (Between 7000-8000RPM), in Manual Mode with RCR settings (Upshift Indicator was on "Auto" settings), in 1st & 2nd gears (I have not tried higher gears yet). I've had my car for 4 months, ADM with Willall Mid-Pipe and have travelled 5900kms. Thank you in advance. NP.

A friend also owns an ADM R35. 3 weeks ago we set out to compare fuel consumption on highway driving in M mode. For the same 40km, I could only manage 7.3km/L and he amazed me to achieve 9.3km/L. Anyway, my last refuel was 56.74L for 400km of V power, that was about 7.05km/L or 14.2L/100km of mainly highway driving. My worst fuel consumption was 5.9km/L during break-in schedule at the first 2000km.

Hi Guys, I am new to this forum, so please forgive me if I have asked the wrong questions at the wrong forum. I live in Melbourne and have had my R35 for 3 weeks and it has travelled 1536km. It seems from this forum that BP98 is a better fuel for R35 and should avoid Caltex at all cost. What about Shell V Power? How does it compare to other? I have had 3 refuels with Shell V Power. Should I switch to BP98? On other note, a friend checked the engine oil for me yesterday and noted that it is darker in color than his Nissan Maxima (has travelled 370,000km) which filled with Penzoil 0-50w fully synthetic engine oil at last oil change nearly 10,000km ago. What is the best engine oil for R35? How much does it cost? Where do I buy them? Do I void my warranty by using engine oil, transmission oil and differential fluid other than those specified by Nissan? Thanks.

Hi guys, why not trying with other major insurance company. I was quoted by AAMI for private used, no finance, rating 1 with multi policies discount as followed: Excess Premium $500 $2845 $1050 $2418 $1550 $2134 $2050 $1423 (this looks like a pretty good deal to me)
