  1. Aahhh, I see. For a moment I thought I was getting close to Bugatti Veyron magic!!!
  2. Yeah the Michelins are PilotSuperSports. 285 fronts and 335 rears. They are more comfortable than the Dunlops. With the wider track, it should equal or better the traction of OEM. Haven't taken it to the track yet. No rubs on full turn or compressions. I say go for it if you can get it. It will have to be a custom order from your tyre shop.

  4. Thanks. Have been using APracing rotors for the last 3 yrs. These rotors are 6 months old. Way better than OEM.

  6. Just got my car back from Martin. He replaced the 3 sensors, gear stops, fasteners and clips. He also had to fabricate a new selector shaft. E85 tune is in (with ID1000 & DW65c) and the car drives like a frikkin beast out of hell!!! Love the meaty midrange pull - so smooth and aggressive. Haven't really had a chance to go WOT to the redline yet on normal roads. Need a strip or the track. Gear changes are now very responsive and smoother change. Martin also had to swap my 3rd gear synchro with the Reverse gear one, as the 3rd synchro was quite worn. Will post more on E85 power when I get more seat time. Dyno showed a massive gain on my previous 98ron renew tune. Plus an amazing 1072Nm of torque at 4650rpm! Overall - very worthwhile mod. Now I gotta re-calibrate my senses to all that power.
  7. Yeah, getting Martin to checkout my tranny and clutch while it's opened up, after replacing the sensors, seals and wear-&-tear parts. It actually had 2 codes: P0847 and P2715. Doing injectors and pumps too while my baby is there. Will see what E85 power tastes like!
  8. Thanks for the write-up Pree. That's bloody awesome - you could do that! I don't have the hands-on know-how. I'll be trucking my car to Martin at Willall. Will let you know how it goes! Might convert to E85 too, while I'm there.

  10. Hi guys, Just had new wheels on and this happens! This morning I had to limp home with 2,4 and 6 gears only. Checked the Cobb which said error code trans PO847. Disappointed. Anyone with any experience? Do I need a trans rebuild now? Thanks.

  12. Hey Snowy, is there a discernible difference in performance between 98 and P100? Do you have to have a special tune for P100 if I'm already on a Willall Cobb tune for 98?
  13. Hi Guys, The "Krkrkrkrk" sound is still happening occasionally. I've taken it the track since then. Also had Martin's new tune. Still happening sporadically and very irritating. I've been able to reproduce the "krkrkrk" when shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear by doing this procedure: 1) Drive the car in (manual) 2nd gear at 3500rpm for 3 seconds without accelerating. Stable throttle. 2) Then manually change to 3rd gear, with throttle still stable. 3) I hear a "krkrkrkrkrkrkkk" before 3rd gear engages. It also feels that gearchange takes longer and more jerky to engage. I am wondering if it really is diff bind or something more sinister. Any help appreciated. Thanks!
  14. Hey Docc, what is your 0-100 time now? Is there a massive difference in accel pull compared to your Renew tune?
  15. I see. It's a pity Michelin PSS don't have too many sizes in the 21in. That would have solved your problems. In the 20in, you could wear the MPSS in 285f and 335r, which should give massive traction in the rears.
