Don't want to do this, but i really need to stop messing around with other cars and finish my 31. I've spent too much on it as a project to stop and start on something else, this golf is by far the most awesome car i've owned. I didn't think it would gain much attention, but i have people asking me everywhere i go, what the hell it is. Lol. I really have enjoyed the short time i've owned it. But alas, once my 31 is finished i would like to lead a normal life (Be able to afford to get more tattoos!), at least for a little while, until im off my P's. Anyways since owning it, it hasn't spent a night outside, it hasn't been drivin in the rain in my hands and its been babied around and carefully cleaned. If you don't know, there is only about 15 3dr's in Aus, its quite a rare car, and for it to be of this quality is almost unheard of outside of the US and Europe. Problems? Right hand indicator light does not flash and front right hand indicator does not come on (rear comes on fine, and left hand opperates as per usual. Needs new speedo cable, speed floats around then find its speed, i've been using a GPS but it should be an easy fix anyway. Wipers stopped opperating about a day after i got it, probably a fuse, i've been working flat out and haven't had a chance to have a look yet. Sunroof has small scratches where it apparently got jammed before i owned it, i have since lubricated it and had no troubles! No leaks either!!! Pics: NO LOW BALLERS! IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT, DON'T PM ME. NO TEST DRIVES WITHOUT A DEPOSIT.
  3. nismo cam motor... Nismo don't make cams for RB30E's.
  4. Easy, under your circumstances id at least try and apply for an exemption. They can only say no, and if thats the case... Buy one of these: Store the 33 and get it once your off your P's.
  5. Ahhh the hakosuka, we can only dream. Babalouie on JDMST has one, when its rego'd ill con him to bring it out.
  6. Had a good day, love reppin the 31, even if it only makes a hektik 93.6kw. Haha! Good to meet some new peeps and see some spastic quick cars.
  7. Really? So leaving them in the sun will turn them crumbly and yellow?
  8. Yeah pretty sure most CF bonnets and parts are clear coated, ive seen you can get some dry carbon race stuff that has no coat, but no one hear would have any of that. Could probably use a standard cut and polish, like t-cut, and some good quality wax to protect it. As with all detailing test it on an inconspicuous area first.
  9. Google it, Next Door Nikki, honey of the internet.
  10. Yeah ive seen them available all over the place, just can't find any other pics other than the demo cars. As for the pic above, thats the M Sports workshop demo R33, hence stickers, wild paint job etc; The boobs belong to 'Next Door Nikki' i can only dream that one day i have a rack like that.
  11. Hey guys, I'm sure you have heard of the M Sports Bodykit for the R33 skyline... Just haven't ever been able to come accross any pictures other than the demo ones on the website, and definatly none from aus, how come nobody has this kit? does everyone hate it or something, to expensive? Because i personally think it looks awesome. Cheers, Tim.
  12. Lol cheers, might hit you up for a HyperRev mag soon!
  13. Hahahahaha, indeed we do.
  14. hay guyz fuli saw ur kewl forum and decided to join coz i love the turbo pshhh sound. Just Kidding. I'm Tim, a long time member of the R31 skyline club (SILO-31), just thought i'd sign up to the SAU to broaden the possibility of more cruises and more information about our favourite model of auto machine. I've owned 2 skylines in the past, my first was a 1987 Series 2 R31 Silhouette, 5 speed manual, 2.5inch exhaust, K&N filter and 98 chip, lowered springs. Was a great car, well looked after and always drove well, one wet afternoon i had the stereo up a bit loud and wasn't consentrating, went round a corner a little to fast and the rear stepped out, by the time i corrected it just enough to narrowly miss a tree she aimed straight for a gutter. A few weeks later i decided i was to wreck my old car and buy a new one, i came accross a straight 1988 Series 3 R31 Silhouette, terrible paint and a bit of rust but it drove well, i had a few plans for it but i'm starting to work alot more and dont have time to modify it, id rather have something 98% completed i can drive and enjoy. So that said, in a few weeks the car will be up for sale and i'll be in the market for a Naturally Aspirated R33 GTS. Cheers, Tim.
