  1. Hey all, Just wondering if there is a special way to get the Hub off the knuckle? Here is where I am at the moment: Taken knuckle off the car including removing the large bolt under the back cover. What the bolt goes onto had 2 flat sides, dose this need to be removed? I need to get the hub off so I am able too gain access to the C clip thus freeing up the bearing to be pushed out. Any one done this before? I can't find anything online
  2. R34 Gtt Banjo Washers- So someone replcaed the banjo washers with rubber ones on my R34 causing it too leak. When I went to nissan there listing in the system had a massivly oversize copper washer listed. The guys at nissan said this cant be right. Has any one else replaced the banjo washers at the power steering rack? Thanks
  3. [email protected] John is the one I have been dealing with.
  4. $150 + Postage. Plus they said if they cant fix it no charge. Its a lot better then I was quoted in Melbourne. The place I was going to go to cost $175 for inspection alone + price of fixing with no garentee they can fix it.
  5. Update: Fc-Hako received my power FC Tuesday Morning and had it fixed and ready to post back today. So far so good they are very prompt on the email and everything they do. Figers crossed my problems are fixed
  6. Thanks 89CAL I did check them out how ever I did think they added an after market application to the power Fc. Any how I will message them and see what they think. BTW thanks for your help along the way you have posted in most of my topics with useful information. Any one else know any one?
  7. Car: R34 GTT Problem: TCS Light, Slip light, Check Engine Light all on - Errors because No power to the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). This is causing the car to idle higher then usual and have a lack of power. Cause: Previous owner somehow melted the main loom running out of the fire wall and along the turbo side of the car. A hand full of wires (5 or so) were melted together one of witch was the TPS wires causing a short to the ECU. The wires have been fixed and tested with a stock ECU and everything runs fine. It is apparent that there is a short on the Power fc although I cant visually see anything. Does any one know of a place that fixes power Fc's? I have tried Trent and Cat but they more focus on tuning now days Thanks
  8. I currently have a Power FC in my R34 GTT that doesn't send a signal to the TPS. I have 0.00% throttle response showing on my AVCR and when I tested the TPS it appears to get no power. I tested it with a test light and get no response. When I unplugged the TPS nothing changes car still runs as if the throttle is closed. How ever when I run the stock ECU the car runs fine. My question is: *Is this a manual adjustment I can make? *If its an adjustment I need to do on the power fc can it be done with the hand controller? Additional Symptoms: High idle, very little response (sluggish), 0.00% throttle Thanks in advance
  9. The TPS on my R34 GTT is getting no power this is only when I have the power Fc plugged in. When I have stock ECU in I dont have this issue. Any clues as to why this is and how I can fix it? Thanks
  10. Any one know what gasket will suit this? I can't seem to find one that fits.
  11. I know what you guys are saying I just feel like i am chasing a needle in a haystack. Clearly something is wrong with the ECU but people have had no luck fixing it with the hand controller or playing with settings with a computer or tuning. So the only thing i can think of is something that the power fc might be over sensitive to or is having trouble interacting with due to the power of the tune. Clearly it's not a plug or something that is broken. I just don't know where to go from here with this problem. Previous people haven't found a solution so while it is a rear problem the solution eludes us all for the moment.
  12. Could spark plugs be the problem? I know in some strange way most problems like this come back to spark/coil packs. Now I know my coil packs are fine but when I changed the spark plugs I replaced them with the same ones that were in there and they had a .7 gap. I was reading some where that with more power you need a larger gap. My theory is that the power Fc should be tuned for around 240kw and when the stock computer is in because it is running standard power no codes are thrown so when I plug in the power fc and it requires larger gapped spark plugs? I don't know and can't find much information on the symptoms of running spark plugs that are too small in a R34 but as I am clutching at straws it seemed quite logical approach.
  13. GTSBoy: I appreciate your input and to correct my self in my previous message to you I forgot to finish my sentience it was suppose to say Power Fc but I am sure you understood me. So because I have checked over the car plugs top to bottom and with the fact that the stock ECU is having no issues I can conclude that connections should be good. I would love to solve this problem by just purchasing the Nistune how ever this is the ECU that has been tuned and for the moment at least its all I have got. From reading the other post and talking to tuners I have come to the conclusion that this is not something that will be fixed by a tune or a setting with the exception of the check engine light. * Is it possible spark plugs are causing this problem? i checked the coil packs and they are all fine so I replaced the spark plugs with what was already in there .7 could this be the problem? Because the power FC is tuned to much higher power. *Fuses I am pretty sure I have checked the car over for blown fuses but maybe I should double check some people say that power FC can only run on a specific current and a blown fuse can disrupt this? * Active LSD people with R33's say there is a problem with the power fc going funny after time recognising the active LSD and it plays up I am not sure if I am experiencing this and have not read any where of R34's having this problem. *Could a damage piece of suspension cause this error? Any additional advice is welcome thank you all
  14. nicksamaniac: Thanks for your advice. I am trying to get hold of a hand controller as we speak. 89CAL:I think I found the thread about it( http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/407575-tcsslip-light-on-with-pfc/ ) . I have messaged the guy to see if he had any luck fixing it so hopefully he will reply. On last look he had every signal symptom I am experiencing but no solution. He even had the car tuned and they couldn't figure out the cause of his problem. GTSBoy:Would the above mentioned such as speed sensor be affected all the time not just with the power
