  1. Is this for current auctions? Or parts we've acquired from Yahoo?
  2. Hey mate, tried to send a PM but looks like your inbox is full. I'm interested in this, PM me if you could. Cheers
  3. It's now done.. And let me tell you looks fkn awesome
  4. And Jez has done it again. Car now runs perfectly! I completely removed the Profec B and switched back to the RB20 wastegate and now the car holds 10psi all the way to limiter. Stoked So it looks like for some reason the RB25 actuator would not hold the same pressure (although I had the same result with another RB25 actuator), the 'brand new' boost controller was faulty (will have a word with who I purchased this from), and the TPS wiring (I had the R32 RB20DET > RB25DET loom made up by someone reputable) were all significant factors as to why my car would run how it did. Other things which improved with how the car drove were brand new AFM and OEM o2 sensor. Was definitely a bitch to get this motor running how it should, but worth it in the end. Thanks again Jez!
  5. Car is not for sale anymore. Missed out on the car I was looking to purchase and can't afford to sell this without having another car right there to buy. Plus this just started stuffing up a whole lot more and don't really want to sell it in this condition. It may come back up for sale when the problem is fixed. Sorry guys.
  6. The solenoid is non existent and the actuator and wastegate are both working CORRECTLY. The actuator has also been swapped out for one which has been proved in another car to be working properly. Today the car stalled on me while coming off higher revs and putting the clutch in. To me this indicates a leak of some sort. I am getting a smoke/leak test done this Saturday to see if that is the case. The turbo to exhaust manifold gasket is brand new and there are no leaks there. I'm thinking the leak may be coming from the actual manifold to head gasket...
  7. Yeah, Jez I put the stock dump on yesterday and it made no difference.. Wastegate opens fine with the standard and aftermarket dump.
  8. I've tried two different standard RB25 ECU's, both have the same affect. The car is standard. Fully standard. It has to be something broken or not functioning correctly, but what?
  9. Hi guys. Just as the title says, I've got an RB25DET in my R32 and whatever I do, the boost will NOT stay steady. The motor is 100% standard. Standard turbo, intercooler, dump pipe, blow of valve, everything. I have tried a few configurations though and nothing makes any difference. Have tried an RB20 actuator, t piece boost controller, aftermarket dump pipe and just recently a brand new GReddy Profec B Spec 2. So like I said, even with stock parts, the boost level to 4000rpm will stay steady at 4.5ish psi, then gradually climb to about 8.5psi by redline. It does it in every gear, although I found if you launch hard in 1st then the boost stays down a bit for some reason.. Whereas if you're on the freeway in 3rd or 4th then it will climb more noticeably. I have checked the wastegate flap and moves very freely and does not get stuck at all. What the hell is the problem?!
  10. Don't mean to be rude mate, but look at the current height of the car heh... They are rolled alright. Current specs at the moment are 18x8.5 +4 front and 18x9.5 +4 rear.
  11. 1992 Nissan R32 Skyline GTSt 60th Anniversary Edition RB25DET conversion Exedy Heavy Duty Clutch New Bosch 040 fuel pump Aluminium Radiator Superpro steering rack bushes New tie rod ends Steering rack lock spacers Solid steering column bush (gives much more direct steering) Hicas lock bar – Hicas has been completely removed properly – all solenoids and lines are removed from the car, an R33 steering pump has been installed so that no lines have to be blocked, and the R33 reservoir is in the car also. Tightly shimmed R200 LSD There are a few downsides to the car. While the paint condition on the car is great, there are scratches etc, and there is also rust in the rear guards. Interior is pretty clean although missing the inner c-pillar trims. Since I had the RB25DET installed 6 months ago I have never been able to get it to run 100% correctly. The only time it has run at it’s full potential is whenever I have put another ECU into it and then it seems gradually the ECU retunes itself or puts it into safe mode, so something must be triggering this. I haven’t been able to solve this problem, hopefully someone else can. That said, the engine is healthy as. While I don’t have any pictures of it as is, I do have a few from when I bought it and how it sits currently, but it will not include the coilovers, wheels or seats pictured in the photo. Standard items will be sold with the car. It has rego until December 25th 2012 and located in Newcastle, NSW. I’m after $6,000. If you would like to view it please contact me via PM here or email, [email protected] Cheers, Brent.
