  1. It'd also help for me to post the kms, I was tired when posting, it's been a long week. ~184,900kms which is lower than average for the age of the vehicle
  2. Cheers Birds, definitely bloody cheap but there's still knobulators offering me $4000. Priced for a quick sale, it'd make a good daily or track car base for someone
  3. 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX hatch For sale I have a 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX hatch. It's a particularly rare car to find these days - one that hasn't been modified and thrashed which is the reason I bought this car. The engine runs beautifully and the car starts first time, every time. The gearbox and clutch are also very good. The interior is in excellent condition with no significant marks. The body is straight but has a few minor scratches and door dings from careless people in carparks, confined mainly to the front bumper and doors. There is minor paint fade to the roof, but all very consistent with an original condition 14-year-old car. As the photos show, overall the car presents neatly. Features: Michelin Primacy HP tyres with ~90% tread all round Alpine head unit Floor mats Headlight protectors Cargo blind I won't be supplying a RWC with this vehicle. If you'd like to organise your own you are most welcome, and in that case I will leave the long registration (until November 2017) on the car. Otherwise, I'm happy to be slightly negotiable on the price of the car and it will be sold without RWC or registration. The personalised number plates will not go with the car. No tyre kickers or joy riders, test drives are at my discretion. If you're interested I will accept a refundable deposit for a test drive with me in the car. 4. I put myself under SAU and for some reason all of us with Victorian 86/BRZ Club membership have been put down as that club in Natsoft...
  5. ^ ummmm...now is probably not the time to tell you that he didn't even scruntineer my car, look at my helmet, extinguisher or car in general. I literally drove past him (at about 7:15am mind you) got a sticker and continued on my way. Change of subject, awesome day - Ash, thanks for the delicious BBQ, SAUVIC, thanks for the garage for chill times.
  6. ^I'm not disputing that, in fact, I agree. Most people destroy the awesome handling of our cars. I'm just pointing out that a standard Excel wouldn't out-handle, nor pull away from a standard 86 in a straight line. One is an older, FWD family car which accidentally happened to handle well. The other is a newer, RWD, proper sports car with a lot of R&D that went into the handling of the car. It might be a little bit slow, but it's not that slow. And in the hands of a good driver (ie. you) they do wonderful things.
  7. Huy - I think you mean GT86, FT86 was the prototype. And they must have been a shit driver. They're slow cars, but an Excel wouldn't out-handle one
  8. Odie - it's concrete, not tarmac. Steven - FWD's generally do very well at Motorkhanas, you'll have a blast, there's no pressure.
  9. I had a slight mini shit myself when I saw things like this in the entrant list: Benetton B189b 1989, and then unshat myself when I realised it's running on Saturday haha
