  1. Hey guys, I saw a black R33 being towed up the freeway today (4th) around 10am. The front looked pretty smashed in on the front right side and the back was a bit twisted as well. Just wondering if anyone here owned the car or knows the driver.
  2. Yes it is safe to reset the ECU. I think whether or not you'll notice a difference will just come down to when the ECU was last reset and what conditions it has adapted to. eg. When picking up a car straight from Japan, ppl usually notice a difference due to the varying road conditions ect.
  3. Yeh, I don't remember hippy FALLING out of his 350Z
  4. Timmaayy ... Leutenall .. ribennall ..Timmmmaayy!!
  5. I'll be picking mine up on Wednesday .. looking forward to seeing how it looks.
  6. Im on holiday and wont be back to the city until the 23rd. Will this be too late for me to pick up the shirt at SST?
  7. Paul I don't think your going to find many chicks in the mountains .. just a hint.
  8. yeh well true, just don't rip into him too much at least he's being smart about it.
  9. I came on the forum to ask this myself .. My g/f said she saw what she thought was a "silver R33 series 2" out at hillary's so i came on to see if it was anyone here. Apparently its a complete write-off with the sides and front mashed up pretty bad. Its so damn sad when this happens ... also explains a few things about trends in insurence price. Seems like it was a gunmetal 32. (g/f was at a distance and is only just listening to my skyline lectures so she isnt that knowledgable .. yet. ) Concerns go to anyone who may be here and was involved in the accident.
  10. HSVKLR .. I didnt expect it to be right because its so damn ambiguous anyway .. and btw those results are quite interesting, thatnks for posting, although dave has a point ... still at least it tells us what stock holdens make at the wheels.
  11. This is a question that is very vague to answer, and it also a question that doesnt really matter. According to some stuff that ive read, the power at the wheels is 80 - 85% what it is at the engine. Still this is just an estimate, and like I said, who really cares ... Oh, in case you dont know the kw - bhp conversion .. its x 1.341 ... so if you have 245 kW at the wheels, you have about 328 rwhp. Not that that really matters either .. its just a measurement and i rekon ppl often quote it just cause its a bigger number and sounds better ... but not always.
  12. lol aybee I think what they meant was that a track day puts enough stress on the engine for it to be equivalent to doing 10,000 k's average road driving, not actually clocking 10,000 k's on the track.
  13. Hey Klaus that is a sweet R32. Congratulations. Only question is, below your avatar it says "1995 R32 GTR" .. I was sure that they only went up to 1994, such as with Ethan_32's GTR, but ive never heard of a '95. Cheers.
