  1. What was the end result of this project?
  2. Hi guys, I have a R32 GTR diff here that I want to replace the damaged friction discs and plates in. Are they available in Australia? Genuine or non-genuine? Thanks.
  3. I checked the turbo part numbers and they are stock r32 gtr turbos. I also checked what pressure the waste gates are opening, and it's at around 9psi on the high setting so I must have an issue with the boost solenoid or the hoses.
  4. Finally fitted these arms last night. The aligner set my castor at 4 degrees which seems on the high end for r32's, so we will see how we go.
  5. When they snap is it from accident damage or normal usage?
  6. Yeah, I assume they aren't legal....Got boxes full of stock stuff here...........and at my parents LOL. I've seen plenty of cars with these after market arms on, and no-name brands too. But I don't know of anyone who has had one simply break. Thats my main concern.
  7. Hi guys, I grabbed a set of Shiang-I adjustable caster rods for my R32 GTR. They look ok quality with a rubber boot over the rose joint, which I was happy about. But after talking to a couple of wanna-be drift kings they tell me that some of these after market arms break! How likely is this given it's only street driven? Last thing I want is to be repairing the firewall after the caster rod snaps. I've seen it with stock rods when people just gutters and the like. Your thoughts most appreciated.
  8. Thanks guys, lots of good options there.
  9. Thanks for that. Is it noisy? My experience of Walbro is that they are noisy as hell.
  10. Hey all, I have a case of the lazy fuel pump disease. It's not holding up it's end of the bargain. What fuel pumps are people using these days as replacements? The cars pretty stock, just exhaust and filters. So I'm not fueling a 1000hp monster. Is there a suitable replacement that slides straight in? or are we messing around with brackets and stuff now? Thanks!!!!!!
  11. Have done a few of them...Not rb25 boxes, but vl turbo, d22 navara, rd28 patrol boxes, they all are the same basic box, just minor differences. They are a large, heavy, and clunky box. I was always amazed at how much end float the gears had. LOL. Everything is circliped and shimed in (unlike rb20, rb30 NA boxes, which are hold by threaded nuts). Any usually everything is DAMN tight. I was lucky enough to have access to NISSAN tools, so that puller shown above is a blessing. LOL. It can be done at home, but dont hope to get it all done in one weekend, unless everything runs smoothly.
  12. You mean rear cross member? Hit up pedders, like $290 for a kit.
  13. Yeah, the blue cover definitely gets baked on!
  14. I've tried a couple of places here in SA with no luck, can you suggest any one who I should try?
  15. Theres not much room there and its a lot of messing around for the LEDS...
