  1. Anyone know piston to head clearance of the stock rb20det silver top????
  2. And yes you can pull spacers from rubber cas gasket and mount up without timing cover
  3. Aftermarket engine mounts? Had this problem recently on an s13/rb25, i chopped 20mm out of them, checked kframe clearance, all good, now shes all sweet
  4. For me, Bottom end: Standard rb26 crank, nitrided, chamfered oil holes, Standard rods resized and shot peened, Hypertectic pistons, id have to look into brands before deciding, but i do not believe forged slugs are required, pistons to suit 10.5:1 comp with valve relief's, steel comp rings, low tension oil rings, restrictors fitted to oil feeds and head/block returns drilled out Head: stock valves, heavy springs, cams 260/262 10.5 lift dialed @106/110, a good throat job and trim valve guides, head decked to suit chosen pistons, Turbo and pipes: small diameter high mount turbo manifold, hks 3037s, 50mm gate with 2inch open screamer, 3 inch dump, no cat or mufflers, strait to the rear 2.5inch stainless cooler pipes to replacement factory sized cooler, water/meth nozzle directly before inlet to plenum, Id run 18-20psi, i believe a good tuner could really lean on this combo and make a rediculasly responsive weapon that packs a punch Hmm, first question to get a post out of me in a while lol
  5. car is now sold, can the thread be locked plz
  6. well i had no idea on a ballpark figure until i started getting offers, i have a bloke who is coming around with 12g cash next monday, if anyone can beat that its theres
  7. first up was the rear skirt, was drunk one morning and trying to reverse out my driveway to go to work, reversed into a branch that had fallen off the tree next to were i park and it shatterd the fibreglass then i was driving home after doing the shopping one night in peak hour traffic wen my misses flipped out, so instead of lookin at the road i turned to face her then bang, strait up the ass of a hilux, wich f**ked the front bar bonnet and intercooler and last up i was parked out the front of a resturant (wich also happens to be the local hoon hangout) and i was having dinner with my in-laws, came out to find my back windscreen smashed and now coz of all the loans iv taken out to build the motor i cant afford to fix the body, so im stuck with the option to sell it as it is and yes i wrote the drift pig on the bonnet lol as the car was built for drifting
  8. heres a pic of it about 7 months ago was a very good looking car, and wouldnt take much to look that way again
  9. ok guys shes a bit rough at the moment, but wouldnt take much to get it back to its former glory there has been big cash spent on engine, turbo, trans and clutch and can run high boost quite easily although it hasnt so far the engine, box clutch and turbo have probly around 7000 k's on them on extremly low boost and always run on the best oils, body has 115 000 k's ok now for wat is rooted, the bonnet is f**ked due to a minor bingle with a hilux, as is the front bar and intercooler (although intercooler can easily be fixed) the rear bar needs to be patched as the fibreglass on one side doesnt look to flash, rear windscreen needs replacement... as there isnt one due to some f**kwit cocksmoker smashing it and the boot lid has a small dent with a little paint missing. i know it doesnt look to good at the moment but i have guestimated total repair costs to be around $3500 and thats to have it looking as good as it ever did im open to reasonable offers, please pm me your offer as u never know *edit* at the moment im getting offers around the 10 - 12 k mark, if anyone can beat them its theres i am in mackay qld
  10. crazymans 32 is pretty much wat ur looking for, tuff engine and the body isnt to bad ether, have a look its well worth it
  11. for more pics and info search ebay for "orange r32 sklyine"
  12. $18,000 sad to see her go but i have lost my license so it has to go. fairly good condition, 112,000 original k's big dollars spent on engine g/box. mostly HKS and TOMIE parts used, aries pistons, eagle rods and HKS bearing set, TOMIE poncams with adjustable ctomie cam gears, head ported and pollished, engine stroked to 2.4 ltr, external HKS wastegate, HKS 30/37s turbo, 3 inch mandrel bent exhaust, HKS fully adjustable coil overs very nice mags and vertex body kit, all internals have only done around 2,000 km's. engine cappable of 28psi easy but has only run upto 10psi so far no figures on power or qtr mile times old 2ltr motor achieved 240 rwkw at 8psi with similer setup, ok, for wat it needs the intercooler has a small crack, nothing to major and any marine welder could fix for around $100. ecu is not setup for the new motor and for an extra $1500 i can supply a HALTECH E6K wich will run it perfectly, ecu in it now runs quite fine but is at its limit as far as achieveable power is concerned any questions dont hesitate to email me at [email protected] my avatair pic is the front bar that will be on for the sale, all vertex body kit. cheers, ash
  13. as the title suggests, im after an RB26 crank, preferably standerd grind email me [email protected] or pm
  14. i dont like them, they look to bulgey to me, but thats just my opinion my R32 had a vertex widebody kit on it, untill i hit the dog and i will be replacing it with the same
