  2. i want to try and keep my g4link rb20 ecu aswell if possible and i would like to wire in the vvt if possible
  3. hey guys sorry to bring the thread back from the dead.. im about to tackle a 25neo swap.. is the above information the same?? thanks in advance for any help
  4. Hey guys upgrading to a gtr spoiler.. Having trouble getting the locations for the holes I need to drill in the boot and where it needs to sit.. Does anybody have measurements?? Also could someone take pics of there gtr from the side of the spoiler so I can make sure I don't place it to far back of forward.. Thanks
  5. Thanks mate.. Iv figured out the problem.. Got a decent multi and the I only had 6v at the yellow battery active.. Previous owner taped into the wrong supply and the headdeck obviously wasn't getting the correct voltage.. Thanks for the help..
  6. If someone has a pic of what they did can they please upload.. Tried to ground it didn't work
  7. Multi on everything all has power.. I'm pretty sure my headdeck is ground sensitive so basically it won't turn on at all unless it has a decent ground.. In the previous deck the ground it didn't matter lol
  8. Hey mate how did you do the headdeck?? I'm having trouble with mine at the moment .. There's a 4pin yellow plug a large multi pin plug that looks like two plugs joined together, has front speakers and power, then another 6pin yellow plug that has rear speakers and factory amp.. What iv done: Run separate cables to the rear speakers so now I just wire them into the headdeck loom (purple and green) I got a cheat loom from supercheap that plugs into the large yellow multi pin plug.. Then wired corresponding cables and plugged it all in and nothing happened.. Fuse is ok.. iv noticed on mine I have a black cable in the bottom left corner of my cheat loom that doesn't line up with anything from the factory plug.. Also the 4 pin yellow plug has the same colour cables as the large multi pin plug, do I need to wire the smaller one into the large one?? Also do I need to do anything with the multi pin plug with the rear speakers and factory amp?? One more thing haha I have a orange cable sitting behind my deck with a male and female plug that has a red tag with Japanese writing all over it.. Wtf is this? Lol Any help you can give would be great.. Cheers
  9. If someone could take a picture of there's and post it that'd be awesome..
  10. When I say power to the deck I put a multi on the loom before I plugged the deck in
  11. Iv got power to the deck but my deck isn't turning on.. I can only assume it has something to do with the orange cable sitting behind my headdeck (in pic above) or the other yellow plug as it has the same coloured cables that the large yellow plug has.. the rest of the loom is wired correctly although I haven't run a ground as of yet.. Fuses are not blown.. I put the headdeck in my glxr and it worked fine.. I got the loom adaptor from repco so it's just plug and play so I do t understand why it's isn't working.. Does anybody know what those other two plugs are and what that orange cable is??
  12. Hey guys, iv done a few sterio installs in my time so I'm a bit confused.. I'm trying to install a pioneer headdeck into my 32 gtst. Now I went to repco and got the quick loom chopped it and wired into the pioneers loom.. Plug into the 32's factory loom and I get nothing.. The rear speaker have been run too the headdeck by the previous owner so I don't need to use the plug from the factory loom.. I have a orange cable sitting behind my deck with a tag on it covered in Japanese does this need to go into the sterio harness with the orange illumination cable?? I also have another two plugs (one black, one yellow) that are next too the sterio plugs.. Do I need to use these aswell??? The Car came as is with a crap old deck that wasn't wired in... Pictures below. Please help
