  1. sorry about delayed reply, holidays I reckon ur right nizmo, the ign and supply seems appropriate so I will run new speaker wires, lose the original speakers and fit my sony xpod ones.
  2. I am still confused. Any help appreciated. I have read various conversations on this topic here and installed the head unit no worries. But it sounds tinny. Is this likely to be because I have a factory amp fitted. I presume this is the box under the rear parcel tray. My questions Is there only an amp on the back speakers or the front also. Is there a wiring colour code available for the amp so I can just use the speaker wires. Are the original wires from the head unit 'speaker wires' okay to use for speaker wires now that the amp is in the head unit. Do I need to power radio aerial with 12v or does the Nissan/iso/sony plug adapter set cover this. cheers for help.
