  1. Is this a genuine Zextel item? Can you post the part number details?
  2. Mate, I'm looking for the driver side rubber strip that goes between door card and the glass on the inside. If in good condition Got it?

  4. Great, thanks for the tip, will try that. So is it common for the factory provided loop to pickup interference?
  5. Hi, can some of you experts please help figure this problem out for me. I recently bought a timing light from eBay (the type that have clamp for pickup and bettery leads for power) and measured the timing on my RB26 motor (motor seem to have some mods like longer crank & possibly larger pistons, not 100% sure). To my surprise the timing was 35-40 degrees BTDC at around 950rpm idle. I know the manual says it should be 20 degrees. My engine runs smooth & have reasonable power, so I'm a bit puzzled as to why my engine seems normal when timing is way off! Could it be my timing gun is inaccurate, or could it be my timing is in fact way off but the engine can still run smooth that far off? I tried flipping the clamp on the pickup loop provided at back of engine but cannot see any significant difference to the number I get. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers
  6. Hi, I want to get a set of decent (at lease 50% meat) OEM rear brake pads for cheaps. This is for a stock 2 pot rear Sumitomo calipers of a R32 GTR. If you got a set lying around after a recent upgrade could you let me know please? Cheers
  7. I think you need to go back to school dude! Ask anybody in this forum if you just put 6 injectors in a bag without any padding and send it, all you get at the other end is a bunch of broken pieces. Its basic common sense dude not rocket science! Its not the Auspost fault... By the way although I only needed 2 injectors, I payed in full for 6 good injectors so that I can replace the lot. I expect to get 6 good injectors for the deal regardless of what I do with them. Again basic common sense stuff!
  8. To fellow forum members, I'd be very cautious buying anything from this guy. I bought the injectors from this sale. He simply put it in a mail envelop and posted it, no packing of any sorts (bubble wrap or even just crunched up newspaper). His excuse is that there were no bubble wrap in the post shop and post worker said it will be ok! 3 injectors destroyed and the other three waiting to get tested for hairline cracks. Don't have much hope seeing the extend of damage on the destroyed three. I have lost the money and time...
  9. I tried it when I first discovered this but could not move. After all the reading last night and your suggestion Ben, I just tried it again this time with long screwdriver to give me more leverage and yes it moves the actuator spring is very strong! So this seem to be normal. The weld is indeed on the waste gate pin housing, holding it in place. Thanks for trying to help me mate
  10. Can someone with stock turbos please look in the bonnet and confirm if their turbos have this weld spot (or not) please? The reason is that after reading some web information, there are some articles that suggest this is normal and what you see could be just the housing for waste gate pin spot welded on to turbo housing to hold in position. If that is the case, this weld spot is normal and will be in all stock turbos. Will appreciate it very much if someone can confirm this to me... Cheers
  11. apparently running stock boost. I've only had the car for a few weeks and have not taken it up to red line (mainly because I am still discovering the car not sure if its safe to rev it up all the way) The only boost gauge is the factory one in the center console. So cant say how much boost its exactly making. But normal driving at around 3000-5000 rpm feels normal with the factory boost gauge going up about 3/4 of the dial.
  12. Hi guys, I have a bit of a noob question. Was cleaning around the turbos today and saw something that looked like someone has welded the waste gate shaft to the turbo housing. Both turbos are the same (see pic below) Is this normal or does it mean my waste gates are welded shut? Cheers
