lol....owning a stagea is an experience initself, for some of us it takes up a lot of our thoughts and wishes and you'll find any excuse to bring it to life. It's a bit of a guzzler but it makes up for it in performance, admiring looks and even pulls chikkkss :wassup: i crashed mine but im well underway finding another one and if you think about getting one, just get it....

I used to just hold the brake down while i floor the accel. after 4-5 secs wheels would start spinnin slow then after 30 secs a good amount of smoke was comin out from under, would keep going and gettin faster if i kept it there, but this was on 11psi and shell optimax with redex octane boost.

up here there prob abt. 10 all up i rekon, 2 at preferred and 3 at mjr + 2 rs260s waiting to be complied, mate of mine has a black one '99 xenon lights, had it for 2 yrs in his garage and cant take it out coz no plates, and 3 or 4 on road, including mine coz her spirit lives :angel: . drove past mjr the other week and noticed a silver one out front, strange thing about this one that i noticed immediately were the foggies in the grill. after a quick yuwee i went and enquired about it and it was a late '98 series 2 with the tv and xenon headlights. Steering wheel was nice on this one so was the meshy trim. Was brought in by a bloke from melb. and left the next day.

here's my graph, 195awhp, and damn i'd swear the octane boost and shell optimax was really giving a few more horsies up untill that f#%*&@n bus got in front of me. no matter, hopefully i'll get a good settlement, enough for the KING.....260! :Paranoid:

not sure about that, still in the process of calculating property and personal damages and other stuff. being an import is good coz the value can be bumped up. hopefully enough to get me a manual series 2 stagea

well, if you know surfers at all on the gold coast h'way where Q1 is, was at those lights. when they turned green i took off and was looking over shoulder to merge into right lane then my mate says watch out for the bus. when i saw it, only a bit of the front was out, there is a give way sign there but it didn't exist for him, went straight through it, didnt slow down or swerve, nothing. slammed brakes, which locked up? when i hit it, it took up all 3 lanes of the h'way and i hit at the rear wheel and swerved s'wheel to left so i hit more my side than my mate's, he got a bruised wrist. on impact it there where flames in the e'bay and he got out but my left foot was trapped from the foot parkbrake pedal at the shin which wrapped around my foot. while those flames were getting a little bigger, abt 20 ppl where trying to break the driver door and electric seats to get me out then this guy comes out of nowhere with an extinguisher and puts the fire out. fire crews used jaws and lifts to break the door and bend off the pedal. good thing its a wagon coz ambos pulled me out from the luggage area. also lucky the sunroof was open coz i was pushed up and a bit of my head was pokin out the top. witht the impact the stagea did well to protect us as you can see from the crumples and that the dash was still intact, as well as the windscreen not shattering. got a few cuts from flying glass on fingers and forehead, deep lacerations on left shin, stitches off in 3 days, left foot broken bone, right hip, leg and groin sprained badly and still sore to walk on, right ankle torn ligaments, right shoulder torn muscle and no more stagea!!!! unbelievable, why did this happen to me, you know it's one of those things that happens to other people that you hear about and think "shit man, hope that never happens to me", but it does. morale is expect that unexpected moment of stupidity that those fare prostitutes have when they're in front or beside you, stay away from buses on the road in the gold coast and you'll be safe. thank you for the good wishes, it's greatly appreciated and helps to know others care and keep safe all you lucky ppl out there who are privalleged enough to still have the ability to bring your pride and joy to life at the flick of a switch, while mine lays dead like a tortured cattle carcass in a corner!

accident last sunday, hit side of bus that came flying out in front of me near Q1 in surfers. caught fire on impact while left foot was broken and trapped by pedals. mad wagon now "SAD WAGON". more pics in gallery. well, no more cruises for me for a while but I WILL BE BACK!!!

thanks for the support guys, shoulders all torn as well and hard to type, been hard to walk but getting better. now i got a reason to get a manuial one. here are a few fotos of the "SAD WAGON", more in my gallery, cant believe it's gone forever. had so much done to it and heaps more planned, lucky i still got my 97 magna, was gonna sell it and upgrade the engine in the stagey. be a while before i can drive again, rekon another 12 days

Accident with bus - Sunday 3rd October, Surfers Paradise (cnr Gold Coat H'way, Hamilton St.) near Q1. Car caught fire on impact and my left foot was broken and trapped by the "HANDBRAKE" wrapping around it. Fire crews had to bend it out with rope to release my leg which is broken at the shin and 2 deep 15 and 20 cm lacerations with small bone protruding.

just get frigen boost tee, the t/s got a little diag., very easy to follow and connect yaself, and just adjust the knob to what the boost gauge is sayin when you give it flat stik.

stock it does 5psi, and quite sure max for the stockies is 13psi. why stuff around with the hoses when u can get the t/s gbcv for $100. got mine on 8psi to keep it tamed and not guzzln but on w/e its on 11 and the tee works good.
