  1. Despite the fact this thread hasn't been used in 2 years I'll just put up my experience for someone else: Series 2 dash - Orange filter on the back of the gauges, the only other color you can use is red. But you can take the cluster apart, remove the faces and sand back the orange filter, use a white light to shine through and ensure you've removed it over the numbers and markings. Doing this does require you to remove the needles and recalibrate after which was pretty awkward but im happy with my blue lights!
  2. Just thought I'd throw up today's work. I don't know why I waited 2 years to chuck some dish in, soo much happier with the look. To begin with, my stag is an AWD RS4 with an auto rear cradle (however it has had a manual conversion, still running auto rear). So my car came with AVS Model 5 18x8+38 (terrible, so I ran 25mm spacers all round) I've gone with some rota filth and got Rota MXR 18x9.5+20 which in my opinion fit perfectly! Not too aggressive but definitely sits flush! Running slightly stretched 235/40's. Haven't noticed any scrubbing except maybe slight on the fronts with full lock however my front guards aren't rolled and the plastic is still in the guard - the rears are rolled though.
  3. Mine has the same problem, occurred randomly one cold morning after no specific change. Some times it releases nicely and sometimes I even have to pull the foot brake manually. Haven't had it looked at since it still functions but feels like the cable is 'sticky' or something
  4. Just got BC coils put on, couldn't be happier with the results! Still unsure whether to get DayZ wing?
  5. Does anyone have a pic of a Series 2 34 with stock rear bumper but DayZ rear spoiler? Cheers, have been looking everywhere!
  6. Hi guys, Got a pair of BC coils going in this week, my next ambition is to throw a DayZ rear lip and wing on - just love the look, especially the wing! I'm just wandering, does the DayZ rear wing mount up the same as the stock wing? and how exactly does the rear lip lock onto a stock rear bar? Thanks guys! Here's a pic of my dearly beloved (before coils)
  7. No idea if it helps but heres my setup:
  8. Definitely planning on lowering first then most likely a DayZ bar. Anyone know of or can recommend any good springs? want to lower about 30mm. Will consider Coilovers too but on KFC wages springs are looking more inviting
  9. After asking Jap import spares on facebook they uploaded 2 new ones, would you say $440 is a bit steep or about right? Adding it up im guessing it would come to around $440 + $300(paint) + ~$100(fit) = $840.
  10. Hahaha yeah, i always liked the DayZ kits but i guess i was thinking get something different because they do look very similar to the stock bar. I'm guessing they dont really come up for sale as people aren't getting rid of them? I have no knowledge of spray painting, i wander if the fact Japimportspares bar is black would make it harder to get sprayed, id assume not but hmmm. Cheers bud
  11. Yeah I might consider a DayZ kit! I like that with their extra height they look more level with the side skirts if that makes sense. Out of interest, where in Adelaide is worth looking for Stagea parts? Japimportspares has been a handy resource, as far as i know though they only have a beat up front bar ATM. What do you reckon it'd set me back to get it sprayed and fitted? Cheers guys! DayZ front bar and lowering are definitely coming!
  12. Hey there guys! (and perhaps girls) Just been browsing the net for Stagea body kits. I'd like to lower it and add a kit. I'm just wandering would a dolphin front bar look okay with the rest of the car stock or would you be best getting the whole kit? I like the kit on it but I prefer a lower front bar. I was looking at perhaps this: http://www.vivagarage.com.au/vivastore/index.php/nissan-stagea-c34-series-2-type-d-front-bar.html Or there's whole kits (all parts more expensive): http://www.blitsbodykits.com.au/nissan.html Current: Then again looking at these photos perhaps i should get it lowered first
  13. Hey guys, I have had a bit of a search but I'm just wandering what size is a stock Stagea S2 Fuel tank? I think my economy is crap, I've been using premium 98 and while i haven't tested from full to nearly empty I've done 150km and my fuel gauge has dropped half? (would calculate but don't know tank size) Does this seem out of the ordinary for an S2 in normal suburban conditions?
  14. Guy's just a random question - I'm wandering out of interest how much were the stags when originally released(in AU$ Roughly). I've got an S2 1999 WGNC34.
  15. Yeah I might put this project on hold for a little bit, but it will most likely happen down the line! I really do like the look of my stag as it is but i feel even just dropping 2-3cm would make such a difference. Either way for now, pretty and stock, the BOV and excessive gauges will attract enough for now
