  7. I have the exact same 86.5mm cooling channel pistons as your's for sale. I bought mine used from a friend and 2 pistons have the same damage as yours. Being that they are an interference fit the rough area on damaged pistons will interfere with the valves opening. I have taken damaged pistons to machine shops but because they are forged they can not weld onto them to fix damage. I am not trying to insult you with this comment I just want you to know. The damage occurred to my pistons when previous owner over boosted stock ceramic wheel turbos and the rear one self destructed and pieces of the turbo wheel ended in piston 5 and 6. The damage to piston 6 was pretty bad like the one you have in your hand in the picture. The number 6 is very minor and can filed slightly and reused. I have tried to replace the one bad piston through Tomei and elsewhere. The 86.5mm cooling channel pistons are discontinued so if someone buys them from you they will have to live with them the way they are. I paid 500GBP + shipping for my set of damaged 86.5 mm cooling channel pistons. The previous owner knew they were discontinued told me but I though I could find one some where I am wondering if you would seperate and sell one or make me a deal on the pistons that are not damaged. I would keep extra good pistons as spares just in case... You could sell the other ones seperately as well if you do not want to make me a deal on them. I am not trying to push you into this. If you doubt anything I am saying then please contact Tomei and elsewhere or take damaged pistons to machine shop and ask their opinion. The machine shop said to replace bad piston before reinstall but they are discontinued. I sent a picture of the damaged piston cleaned so the damage is obvious to show you damage to mine. If you want to clean the tops use WD40 and let it soak a few mins and clean with a rag... Thanks for your time. Ian Email me if you want [email protected] I do not get on here to often but you could leave message if you want...
