How Do You Guys Manage An Exhaust System On A Lowered Skyline?

Recommended Posts

my r33 has an 3 inch exhaust system though with king low springs, muffler sits at about 8cm off the ground

i need to get roadworthy so i put stock springs back in & now its sitting at 10.7cm just barely legal..

iv measured the ride height from center of wheel to guard and with stock springs its 365mm which is about right

how do you guys manage to lower your car with your exhaust but still legal hieght?

iv even asked an exhaust specialist to tuck my exhaust up abit they said theres like 1cm between the muffler and diff

everything is legal when on king lows just the rear end of exhaust is the problem

how much lower from legal height at the lowest point of the exhaust?

Do you have a bolt-on brand name system or did you get a custom one made up at an exhaust shop?

80mm in NSW and 90mm in ACT. I just did rego for my 34 at Dickson pits in ACT, guy said 90mm from lowest point. If you are worried get you exhaust adjusted/welded... around $150-200

in nsw, it's 100mm to the lowest part of the vehicle(including drive-in/suspension/fuel tank)
