R32 Gts 20De,wanting To Install A R32 Gtst Lsd.

Recommended Posts

Hi I'm sure this has been coverd.I am wanting to install a Lsd diff into my R32 as i dont want to go locked as this is my daily driver, Rb20de, rb20det box Manual, 4 door, non hicas, non abs. What diff would be the best to install?.I'm am unsure if a r32 gtst would fit as in splines from axles sloting into 4 stud hubs and if the drive shaft would bolt up?.had to sell my baby a r33 gts25t and the 32 just aint the same lol, would like to get both wheels lighting up on the back if i can.

Any help or input would be appreciated greatly.

Or even pointing me to the Topic that will enlighten me.

Thank you guys.

Splines at the hub should be the same. Therefore, provided you also have 5 bolt driveshafts, the turbo's diff will bolt in easily enough.

But no-one in their right mind would ever describe the viscous diff in an R32 as an LSD. They just aren't really. Perhaps behind an NA they might be enough, when they were new. But they've all done a million miles over 20 years and are rooted now.
