Cas: 2 Different Mitsubishi Part # ? Interchangeable ?

Hello there,

It appears the right CAS for BNR32 is the 23731- 08u00. However, I have in my hand a mitsubishi that look very quite similar to the one installed on my car but part number is 23731-02u11. ( which is stated good for 93 to 97)

Anyone ran into this problem ?

Ive seen one with a solid plug in the middle and others with a rubber plug in the middle. Not sure if thats the different number?

I thought the rubber plug Mitsu ones were R34 GTR.

Are the engagement ends the same?

R32 and early r33 cas are either hitachi or mitsi units (interchangeable), R34 and late model 33 (series 3 and neo?) use different cas with black plastic on the outside (Not compatible due to different engagement)

need to use r34 gtr cams with r34 cas

The Hitachi CAS' are the Neo ones, the mitsubishi ones are from earlier models
