Japan Trip What To Buy?

im heading to japan in november and im trying to get a list together on parts to buy while im over there visiting a few up garage stores.

parts will have to fit in my suitcase my stagea is pretty much stock apart from the splitfires so fire away what you would buy for a stock stagea on my list so far

Electronic boost controller

a set of gauges

Turbo (no idea on what type help needed)

Injectors (no idea on what type help needed)

One piece of advice that I'll give you is that parts in Japan may have more availability but buying from actual garages won't result in cheaper prices.

Depending on your Japanese knowledge etc you could take advantage of Yahoo auctions but you need to have someone for it to be shipped to.

Alternatively you could go to some swap meets

Turbo and injectors I'd get here. I wouldn't even bother with a second hand unknown stuff from Japan. Go read up on 25 results in the forced induction section.

Go to some autobacs (like a auto store, but with heaps of second hand stuff too), and see if you can get some cool rare little things.

or just go to global-auto and pick a monster with everything already on it!!

But go and explore the food, people and atmosphere is amazing i can't wait to go back!!

If your buying turbos etc... You won't really be able to stuff them in your bag. Authorities put a stop to that years ago.
