R32 Gtst Gearbox Crunch

Hi guys I have a r32 gtst it is mostly standard, now the box that was in the car was screwed not bye me so I got a used one from KYP in Perth and hyperdrive fitted it. But some times when I change into third and fourth it crunches and knocks but only when the box gets warm. I thought it might be the oil being to thin so I got thicker stuff and it's not as bad but still does it sometimes so I was wondering if it is bad to put to thick of oil because I might try thicker stuff.

If that doesn't fix your issues nothing will, meaning you've bought a dud gearbox.

Film thickness greater than an SAE 75W140, yet low fluid friction like 80W gear oil or 30W motor oil.

Worth trying Castrol VMX 80 with Nulon G70. Easier to find than Redline (and much cheaper).

So it wasn't the oil I had a look at the clutch pedal and changed some stuff and had a fiddle. I think the clutch was set wrong because after I changed it it was a lot better it still makes some noise but doesn't fight me when I try to change gear it's all smooth to shift now so I thought I'd let u guys know
