Transgo Shift Kit In M35

Hi Fellow Stag owners,

I am considering installing a Transgo shift kit in my M35 Axis. Just wish to get opinions and feedback from those who have it installed or had experience with the kits in an M35.

Intentions are to still retain an everyday smooth drive without brutal shifts and not to shorten life of the trans.

All feedback is appreciated.

Most would agree that it is an excellent upgrade. By all accounts it will actually extend your transmission life. Shifts on light throttle are smooth, almost like stock, but the harder you go the faster the shifts. However, manually shifting down thru the gears isn't helped a lot.

It is a brilliant upgrade and recomended. Shifts are faster and still smooth.

I would disagree with Leon about the downshifts. I thought it was a good improvement to downshifts but they can be slower than desired. I found if you use a little throttle on the downshift the gearbox was more willing to change faster.

You can get the very odd shift that is a little firm but my wife did not even pick the difference.

I also got an improvment in fuel economy.

As above; this is a "must do" mod in my opinon.

No downside in normal use, but when you want tight shifts; it's there.

You won't look back.
