Towbar In Melbourne?

Looks like you need to put airbags on the back to tow proerly by the look of that pic (and moar powah). My mate used to have pedders airbags in his vt commo, and it stopped the car doing wheel stands when it was towing anything substantial.

Sorry for the Late reply lads but i have been busy !!

The Tow bar turned out really well, It is tucked up nice a neatly under the car and is rated to 2000kg. Dropped the Stagea off in the morning and he finished it that night.

I haven't had a chance to tow the race car with it yet as i am still doing work on it. But i will be at the island on the 28th April for the next round of PIARC sprints if all goes well. ( racing the mazda RX3)

It is solidly bolted to the rear end of the car and he also put some additional plates in the spare wheel well to support the main structure of the tow bar. The electrical connection all lives in the spare wheel well. I will try to get some pic's at some stage but just been to busy!!

Awesome. What was the final cost and do you have the details of the guy who did it?

Also, is it plated or he's just told you that it's rated to 2000kgs?

Rotaron did you have any photos thinking about going to locset for a towbar as well. Also what did you end up paying if you don't mind me asking.

Just had my C34 done today at Locsed Products, well tucked and neat.

Anyone know if Locsed will do a tow bar for an R34 Skyline Coupe? Struggling to find anyone in Melbourne and so far my only option is Fast Fit in Sydney

He can do one for anything. Give him a call. Expect it to be around $750 unless you can get a few together like we did for the Stageas.
