This combo gives insane braking abilities on the track. Straight after high speed hard braking, the front rotors are 250 degrees celcius, the rears are 170 degrees. Very trustworthy braking...

- 4 x Rota Gridr 18 x 9.5 +22 wheels with 70% Yoko Advan A048 tires. Also included is my track slicks 6 x Michelin Blue cup 240x640x18 on 3 x 18x10+15 Buddy Club P1 QF lightwieght rims, 2 x Rota GR6 18 x 10 +12 rims. I also have a pair of wet slicks.

- Brad Penn, Penn Grade 1 racing oil, changed every 3 outings. Engine was ran in correctly with run in oil.

- Redline Water Wetter and demineralised water used since rebuild.

The engine runs rock solid. The inital tune of 306rwkw was with a 3" blocked cat (I didn't see it till later). With the 3.5" High flow fitted, the car runs much torquier off boost and the power difference up top is substantial. I am yet to put it back on the dyno for power runs, however it is still at 17psi boost. I have plenty of rebuild pics to prove parts were fitted.

The car is straight, has some very minor scratches and 3 small dents on the roof. The rest of the paint is in very good condition and is often polished with meguiars products.

The car had its wing stolen when I purchased it, I have fitted a GTR wing with a Sniper Carbon Fibre Blade.

The car now has a black widow alarm fitted.

Included is a Sabelt racing harness, there is harness rings fitted to mount the 4 point harness. Easy to fit then remove to drive home.

No rego as it ran out when I was overseas. I will re-rego if required.

I have attained 1min 08 at Wakefield and 1min 50 at Eastern Creek (on DOT tyres). I am only relatively new to track racing.

The car is street registerable, the exhaust is a little on the loud side, this can be easily fitted with a 3" system. The ride height is legal, and can clear speed bumps etc without straddling them.

I guess now most of you who have made it this far is asking why I'm selling it? The short answer is that I'm stepping into Formula Ford, and I can't justify leaving her in the garage, it would be a waste.

Price $27,000 firm unregistered, $28,000 with 12 months rego. This is priced for a quick sale...

Contact Craig, 0424854025, the car is located near Penrith.

Please note, my prices are very cheap and firm. This package alone cost me over $37,000 only a matter of months ago. Please no joy riders, if you want a serious cheap road registered track car, then this is for you.

It has a standard gearbox that has been micron treated. The engine is only around 1500km old since rebuild, so I plan to keep it on this tune. I have no intentions of 400rwkw plus, it will last forever on this tune. Any prospective buyer can tune it for more boost, I'd say it has around 320 at the moment.

If someone was dead set keen and was ready to put dollars down, I could arrange it to get tuned to suit what you wanted to do, ie quieter exhaust for the street, or more boost for more power.

What it is set up for now has no detonation, gets around 380km from a tank of fuel, and gets me in the top 5 in super sprints consistently. It's more than enough power for what I want to do and has longevity.

I forgot to mention that it also has a TSC Extreme 4WD controller fitted as well. This is a must for track cars!.

Thanks mate, it's killing me to let it go, but I just don't have the $$$ for tracking bikes, the formula ford and the GTR. I have some in car videos if anyone is interested...It sounds menacing on the track...

Oh and just to clarify, I have set the max rpm on the link g4 to 7000rpm. This engine hasn't been thrashed, yet well looked after...

The fuel pump isn't standard and it was changed before I bought it. It runs the standard GTR fuel rail and fpr. The original tune was horrid and the engine was massively over fueling, hence why I stripped it and rebuilt it. The over fuel had washed the rings and wore them out. I went all out and rebuilt.

GTR is back up for sale. Car has been inspected by a head mechanic of a well known importer/performance shop in Sydney (wont name names on site, but can confirm with calls).

My best policy for sale is honesty, so here it is.

The GTR has a crease in one rail just to the right of the fuel tank. The rail has been repaired and the boot panels replaced or repaired. I have contacted the RTA and the car is not wriiten off. The car has the relevant engineering inspection and is cleared for registration.

I have the name of the workshop who performed the body repairs, and they have used genuine nissan panel sealant.

I also have been in contact with the performance shop who has replaced the lower arms and shafts, they know the car well.

The mechanic who inspected the car today checked all the receipts, i have spent $17,000 on this engine rebuild. I have $11,000 in receipts (photographs for proof) and I have purchased the remainder off SAU. The mechanic valued the engine in

this car as $12,000 - $15,000 as is.

I am very busy with work for the next 6 weeks, however this car must go to fund my Formula Ford. I have my first day in two weeks time.

I am willing to sell this GTR for the next week for $25,000 in its state. It must go asap or I wont make registration for FF. I can assist with pink slip inspection, the rego ran out in Sep. Included in this price is 3 x Buddy Club P1 Qf 18x10 and 2 x Rota GR6 18 x 10 with 6 x Michelen Porsche Cup 240/640/18 slicks with around 70% tread remaining.

The GTR also has a Tomei HICAS lock out kit fitted as well.

I have pics for everything for proof.

Contact via mobile 0424854025. If my phone is off, please leave a message. I should be free after 7pm.

Thanks, I will be deadly honest with any inspections or shops who performed the work for me.

Must go this week guys. This is an ideal track weapon. On a very mild 17 boost tune, it runs 1min 08 at Wakefield and 1min 50 at EC, and thats with a jube gumby driver...

Let me know if your interested.

Thanks.

    • The 4WD version is harder to find so I compared the parts diagrams of the two https://nissan.epc-data.com/stagea/whc34/5414-rb20de/engine/172/17453/ and https://nissan.epc-data.com/stagea/wgnc34/287-rb26dett/engine/172/17201/ seems like the same part is called out: 17201...what with WHC34 tank work?
    • Thanks man, car is registered! Time to enjoy it. But if anyone has questions let me know happy to help others avoid my pitfalls.

    • I finally got it on the dyno today and luckily it stayed in one piece! It wasn't without its dramas though. First off, sent my power steering belt to the moon around the third pull. Scared me half to death. Tuner laughed and mentioned that often happens with RB's... I may need to look into adding the Ross power steering idler, or something a long those lines.  Second issue that came up was about 2 hours in, we realized the VCT wasn't working and had to go back through the timing and knock threshold once it was fixed (I had botched setting up VCT). That waisted a good hour or so. I was surprised to see that with VCT working, we saw a ~38rwkw difference across the powerband. More then I would of expected.  Without further ado, made 463rwkw@27psi. Not the numbers I originally set out after, but still more then enough to kill myself and I'm very happy. Mustang roller dyno's are known to be heart breakers compared to other dyno's. Two things that limited me, first was the hydraulic lifters/7600rpm cut. Tuner was adamant that I was losing out on a lot of power up top because of it. Second was the pump gas & WMI. He wasn't 100% comfortable tuning with WMI, and was honest about it. He stated he's more confident on E85/Race gas. I look at this as a positive as it leaves me a lot of room for improvement. All in all, very happy! I need to see what I can do about that rev limiter... I use to rev my stock RB20 to 8000rpm and now I have a fully built head that I only rev to 7600... It's bugging me.  Don't mind my fantastic picture/filming skills.  RB28 - Dyno (1).mp4
