Kando Dynamics Turbo

Soft limiter is at 7800 and hard at 7900. Just moving both to 8000 and 8100 it's not really a huge change...

Plus it's not like the motor is falling over, it's still well in happy zone and continuing to make power :-)

if I can get a few years out of the motor i'll be happy

He has a 25 with 20 loom and ecu. I ordered one of these turbos with him, mines going on an rb25 with gtr throttle setup in an s13 should be interesting to see the difference, although I'll be running pump fuel probs.

haha i said turbo will be happy... nothing about the engine... dont think id try either :)

1500-7800 @ 9secs (on the lowest power correction mode so it gives me conservative results SAE J1349 (2004)) is what i use to tune (after all the f3 and f2 tuning is finished) then i do a 14sec run as a heavy check @ the end. Customer never gets a 14sec printout as its unrealistic response wise.

This 9sec run gives near on identical peak rwkw to all the new Dyno Dynamics but without the inflated low and mid. The 12-14 sec run will give you the same response as the DD but about 4rwkw more peak.

Ok did a "STATUS" spec run tonight with a little more boost (1.75bar) with a 9sec run between 2000-8100 with SAE correction on.

Went 410.9rwkw or 550rwhp, will get dyno graph up tomorrow :)

Very nice results :) Might have to try runs like at some point I am around a hub dyno again to see what the numbers look like to get an appreciation of what cars run at Status are like.
