Upshift Not Allowed After Red Light Has Come On

Can any R35 owners out there, please tell me It is normal? or I've done something wrong? and How to overcome it?

My problem: My R35 won't allow me to manually upshift under full throttle after Upshift Indicator's Red Light has come on (Between 7000-8000RPM), in Manual Mode with RCR settings (Upshift Indicator was on "Auto" settings), in 1st & 2nd gears (I have not tried higher gears yet).

I've had my car for 4 months, ADM with Willall Mid-Pipe and have travelled 5900kms.

That does not sound right. My car allows me to upshift when red light comes on. I am quite sure of it.

I can definately upshift when the red light comes on, hell I can even up shift when the rev limiter kicks in.

Can upshift in all gears when red light is on and when hitting revlimiter.

Mine also changes up, no dramas. I did have a funny issue where it was slow to get into 6th gear in auto when cold, After the first service check at 2k, the nissan dealer said they did some transmission relearn ? recalibration of some type seem to sort it out. Dont think its anything major.
