Digital Boost Gauges/digital Pressure Senders

Hi im looking for alternative boost gauge setups that dont require the space of a normal gauge pod and threading vac tubes into the cabin.

to give you an idea:

http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store/scrip...p?idproduct=131

this would be ideal but except for the price + its in america and have no idea if they would even ship here.

has anyone come across setups where theres a small digital pressure reader under the bonnet right near the intake manifold, then all you need to do is run a wire into the cabin, and then mount a small LCD readout on your dash? i would have expected that these kinds were more common as digital pressure readers are nothing high tech, but i cant find anything.

maybe im just searching in the wrong places, as i can only find gauge pods when searching for automotive terms. are there other applications that could be adapted to suit? there must be plenty of machines that need to read pressure above and below atmospheric pressure

Car Wont Start

Hi guys,

I am coming to the end of a 12 month project on my car.

The character limit would stop me from posting my mod list but any way its an RB30DET, I am running individual Bosch coil packs mounted on the firewall and 900cc injectors.

I put my Microtech LT12s in with its base tune.

I have to trailer my car 200Km to a dyno tuner so I want to make sure every thing is perfect when I get there so I don't have to trailer it all the way back.

If I try to start my car the starter motor just turns the engine over and there is no ignition what so ever, no firing at all.

You would kind of expect this considering base tune is for 370cc injectors and I am running 900cc injectors but surly there is petrol there you would think at least a pop or something from it. I checked for sparks and there is defiantly spark there, those botch coils throw a huge spark. I am not too sure about fuel though, I can't tell if the injectors are pulsing.

Also the microtech makes a wierd noise when you try and start the car, like there is a relay inside the microtech turning on and off really quickly. Sounds like a buzzer but I assume its a relay.

I changed my a few things on the microtech to lower the fuel down and it makes no difference.

Cleaning R34 Xenon Headlights

Hi,
I've done several search's using different terms and could not locate an answer, just wondering has anyone with an R34 with Xenon's removed the casing and managed to clean the inside of the headlight cover to remove the gas discharge residue? Or is there another way? I had a look at the car today and there is several bolts connecting the whole headlight to the front bumper and also to the body. Then there is also some clips but they come off really easy but couldn't get the "back" half of the case off... My lights are starting to look really shocking almost as bad as the R33's get after a while with the yellow residue on theres and would like to clean the inside but need some help on how to remove or do it.

If you need a pic let me know and ill take one to better explain what i can't in words lol.

Drew.

Need Peoples Help About My Paint Buying Today Plz!

Hi all we masked up the car last night inside the doors and i am buying a liter of paint tonight to do my door jam's. The thing is what ever paint i buy tonight is the paint i am going to use to do the whole car so thats where you guys come in ill tell you what i was thinking and maybe someone can post their opinions thanks please no stupid shit.

I was considering 350z black as its a nice black its Forest Black i think, I considered this because i have seen a few 350z's that looked crazy when washed but now i am starting to think that its to flat and there is nothing special to the paint its just a flat black.

P's: I don't want pearls or custom colors that are going to give me problems later on i just wan a basic color off a black Nissan.

The second choice was the standard metallic black off the R32 GT-R this is nice and has sparkles in it which kinda put me off before seeing little colored sparkles through the paint but at least its got something to it and its not plain and boring so let me know what you guys think and i might be able to make a decision by 3pm unless my head explodes from thinking about it to much .. thanks

While that is all good, until he told me how powerful the vtec is when it kicks in and stuff. To the extent he said the vtec is best not to be used on the streets, because its too fast and propels in front and hits the car in front. I was just dumbfounded when he said that.

Any similar experience that you guys had or heard of ?
i just find it amusing

Can you fit adjustable cam gear on a rb25det? The reason i ask is my tuner has not done it before. He said it has a adjustable one on i think he said the intake. Can you replace that with a greddy or hks one as well as the exhaust? I brought a set for my old rb20 and never put them on so was going to with this motor. Also what gains are seem by them.
