US Spec Nissan GT-R on The Dyno Again

XS Engineering in California have had a new Nissan GT-R on their dyno recently. Eric Hsu has posted up a picture and a dyno graph of the run on his blog as well as a few choice quotes from the guys who have driven it. The GT-R made 412.1 hp @ 6527 RPM and 388.7 lb-ft of torque at all wheels in fourth gear.

Great power for a standard car. Now to see some US made exhausts on them and further testing.

Nissan's 1:64th, 1:43rd and 1:24th R35 GT-R Die-Cast Models

And the news about GT-R models has not abated just yet! Expect even more over the coming few days as news from Shizuoka Hobby Show leaks out.

Nissan are launching their own range of GT-R models at the show starting with a 1/64th die-cast model, a 1/43rd die-cast model and a premium 1/24th scale die cast model. Available in 6 colours each (Silver, Titanium, White, Red, Gray and Black) they are priced at 2,200 yen ($22) 3,400 yen ($34) and 42,000 yen ($420) each… youch. The 1/24th model is hand painted but for $420 it had better be damn good.

Expect these to go on sale at Nissan’s online store on the 16th of June. We’ll let you know when we get some better photos of these ones.

Apologies if it seems like we’re turning into a toy blog these days. It’s just that time of the year, loads of new toys are out or coming out soon. These little チョロQ mini cars are great and I always end up with a bunch of them every time I’m in Japan. Not sure if Tomy are planning a Q-Steer RC version or what at this stage but that would definitely be a bag filler if they were.

Expect to see these out soon or you can pre-order online now at Amazon.co.jp.
