G'day SA :D

How far is Mallala from Thebarton in SA?

I have the opportunity to work the Thebarton (?) for 6 weeks, from end of August/early September and if it all pans out then i would love to have a run around Mallala.

Having a quick look at the Mallala site they have open days ...

These days are open to the public and are restricted to Licence holders, either Road, Cams or M.A.S.A. Gates open at 10 a.m. for a 10.30 a.m. start. 15 minute sessions are run for each category, i.e.

Motorcycles – fast

Motorcycles – slow

Superkarts

Closed cars

Open cars

The day finishes with the final session at 5 p.m. The cost per day is $70.00 for cars and $80 for bikes (these charges include GST)

Dates are

AUGUST 2004

Saturday 7 Practice (General)

Saturday 14 Practice (General)

Thursday 19 Practice (Cars Only)

Saturday 28 Practice (General)

SEPTEMBER 2004

Saturday 11 Practice (General)

Saturday 18 Practice (General)

I think you will find an hour or two trip will get you from the northern most suburbs to the southern suburbs, depending on traffic. Adelaide is a very small town. I will be taking mine out once its done. They have drift and racing there...go for it :P Tell us what you think compared to your regular haunt :)

:wishful thinking::)

it would be nice if the organiser for the drift event could combine some circuit driving and drifting together. I think there would be more competitors and spectators.
