R34 Gtt Ecu ?

Hello All,

I have been seeing forum threads and guides on people explaining how to reset the ECU and also run ECU diagnostics for 32s and 33s. Can someone tell me if the procedures and return diag codes are the same for R34?

Coz I have been told that the 34s cannot be done in the same way..

I just remove the negative battery lead from the battery, leave it off for a while, pump the brake pedal, turn all the lights and stuff on and off, then wait some more, go have a coffee, then come back, put it back on.

Start car, let it idle for five minutes, then go have a drive.

Seems to work for me.

PS. Do the hicas diagnostics thing. You will laugh your arse off at the back end of your car dancing!! Remember to do it with the front wheels pointing straight ahead though!

sorry guys im abit of a noob here...what is it actually do when u reset the ECU?? whats the whole point of reseting the ECU?? sorry noob here...lolz
