PRODUCT INFORMATION

The G4 Racing brake upgrade kit is an uprated 8 piston front or 6 piston rear end braking package, designed for heavy duty street and demanding circuit or drift competition use, and is the ideal choice for individuals that require heavy duty stopping power at a realistic price point.

Sold as a complete bolt-on kit, G4 Racing Brake packages are manufactured to the highest standard, using quality Japanese pistons and caliper seals, combined with race quality components throughout.

Replacement brake pads are widely available for these calipers, unlike some other large brake upgrades. Almost any high performance aftermarket pad design for an AP Racing 6-Pot caliper can be used with these G4 calipers, including pads from the likes of Endless etc.

G4 Racing Brake Upgrade kits are available for all popular Japanese import and European vehicles and all kits sold include a 12 month replacement warranty.

Hi mate, I have updated the first post.

They are only available in the one caliper colour at this stage and they require 17 inch wheels or larger to accomodate the large 8 piston calipers.

Regarding fitting, they can be installed with relative ease, and though we dont offer a fitting service in house, any competant workshop can fit this kit up for you.

Hi mate, the pads for the G4 Racing calipers arent proprietary

There are a number of aftermarket brake pad options available from the likes of Endless etc, and these G4 calipers use the same pads as a common AP Racing 6 Pot caliper.

They seem to have similar design look to a Tarox kit. Can you give any more info of the history of the caliper and rotor...do they work with the std rear brakes and master cylinder?

Hi Roy, the G4 calipers with work fine with the standard master cylinder and rear calipers, we have tested this on a few of our customer cars.

The actual design of the caliper is based on an AP Racing caliper and they will use most aftermarket performance pads designed for an AP 6 pot caliper ie Endless.

Yeh very interested in the width of the rotor, and how readily available replacement rotors are. Do they match the PCD or other aftermarket 330mm rotors or would changing brand of replacement rotors dictate a new hat?

Hi Roy, the majority of the components in the G4 kit are interchangable with components from AP Racing kits so replacement rotors are not a problem.

We measured the rotors today, and they showed a thickness of 32mm and an actual overall diameter of approximately 331mm.

Unfortunately G4 have kits for EVO 4-8 only at this stage.

Gday Duncan, the GTR kits include new braided brake lines - We would need to check if the original GTR brake lines work go back on.

As per the post above, the discs are 32mm thick and as with the other components in the kit, are very similar to those of the various AP Racing brake packages available so availability of replacement components is certainly not a problem.

Lastly regarding the adapters, I dont have a pic of the adapter itself just at the moment.
