lol @ pumped a few R's... u sure they were R's? They had R and Vtec badges, that means its one yah? haha and i DONT believe u have tracked ur xr6t because im a regular tracker and an xr6t doesnt even keep up with my shitty civic around a track. its not about power either, its the fact that theyre are barges. I was being fictitious, course i meant on the street. One is always prepared on da track. My comment on them being quicker, only applied to real world street situations where you can get caught out when in a revy hi-po import. 8k RPM clutch dump from standstill will beat most things. Same result with ATTESSA and entering apex's. One must always be prepared for the infidels. Only one Boost setting, always in the right gear, always vigilant...oh and Hahahaahaha - I like. -------------------- ![]() " It's the Transformers, Voltron, Astro f_ck, more then Meets these eYes, anodized CNC Cut like DaceptaCons Right calf, thrusted forward by whooshing, chuf chuf, toosh toosh, electrO warning Gauge boost COntrollering beepping flashing buttons… its where these street terrorizing Y generation get it from " |

xr6s will never come close to a gtr stock for stock, or with both had 10k spent on them,
sure the r32 gtr may have a few problems but you comparing an almost new car to an 18 yr old car, i never remember the gtr having diff, gearbox ectt... problems. -------------------- ![]() |

The XR6 will be more practical and that’s it, the bloody things will weigh in at near enough 2 tonne with driver and passenger. It makes power but it needs a lot more of it then a gtr to get moving, same for torque. I can’t imagine hauling that much weight about will be economical for fuel either. At the end of the day if you want a lazy, fastish car that’s comfortable to drive then you can’t get much better then the xr6 for the money. If you want something that will excite you however it’s the gtr all the way. Only the people who have driven these things in anger can understand its brilliance

If you are actually going to use it as a ute... get the xr6t
If you want new car... get the xr6t (or budget more for the GTR) If you want one of the best street cars in existence.... GTR all the way Im running alot less power as Mr Keets, and I've chopped an xr6t after he caught me of guard(out of happy zone)... it wasn't slow, the R was just that much quicker. And remember as soon as you start dialling in more power, the GTR will be more drivable in comparison due to AWD grip... nothing worse than a car with half the power thrashing you because you can't stop the wheels from dutching up Only the people who have driven these things in anger can understand its brilliance Quote of the year... straight to the pool room with you -------------------- "cons for the N/A motor- you dont get farken WHOOOSH !" stock for stock a GTR will have no troubles, rolling start or standing start... have done it many times in a stock GTR (my previous stock 33R ran 13.1 at 104). lightly modded sees them in the 12's easily, hell my GF lighlty tunned 180 has handed it to xrts before. xr6t is more comparable to GTT stock for stock.
Go for the gtr; considered 33R? bit newer, roomier and easier to drive on a daily basis. |
