nice find
1098 = porn -------------------- Do yourself a favour and put a 2JZ in it. Than throw the RB in the nearest waterway and let the fish eat off it, much like an artifical reef.

Yeah nice find there. Was expecting the gtr to be quicker around the corners but not quick enough to be the 1098.

I love apples and oranges comparisons.
Dry track, i think the bike would pull some more on it. -------------------- Current: Daily: 1992 N14 SSS manual Wrecking: 1993 N14 GLi manual Previous: Daily: 1990 R32 GTS RB20DE+T |

Interesting I must say.
I expected the bike to win over everything. Seems the R35 GTR is better through the corners and bike down the straight. Each had their pros and cons but you would get that when compairing apples and oranges. Still the R35 GTR is doing quite well and can stand its ground no matter what they put it up against. -------------------- ![]() |

its pretty pointless to compare a purpose built 4wd race car against a v8 family sedan... but they did, its pointless to compare an $80000 US gtr to a $200000 US porsche gt2, and they did that too.... drag racing is pointless... shredding tyres on purpose is pointless, building a 500kw GTR when you can only go 110km/h is pointless....
everythings pointless really, but it got porsche owners going, and holden owners without a leg to stand on, and it would be a nice feeling to have that gtr in your garage... its all for fun and interesting to compare a top end car to a top end bike.. wonder how it wouldve gone against the desmodeci... spose you would need a nismo edition gtr for that to be in the same league. given that most bikes can out perform most cars on corners.... and the ducati can out-corner most 4 cyl jap bikes due to its traction control system and controllable low down torque, the gtr must be absolutly neck breaking... (as shown by jeremy on top gear) cheers Linton -------------------- R32 Gtst Time Attack Buildup will be back after these short messages This is Bear Crap!... look... you can see the little seeds of berries... thats good news...it means there are berries around here.. The bad news is that it means there are bears around here. . |

that driving would be awesome with some music . its so good i think it would even be bearable if it was yank and had them blah blahing on and telling us stuff like how the bike only has 1/3 as many cylinders as the car and other facts that are just as useless

car will always hold more corner speed than a bike due to its surface area of each tyre x 4.
i raced bikes & have ridden for over 12yrs & yes they are great BUT an 11sec gtr for some reason feels more impressive than a 10sec bike - thats the truth! -------------------- “I'm just really stunned for words. I can't believe the reception. I thought Australian race fans had a lot more going than this. This is a bloody disgrace. This is going to remain with me for a long time...
