Hey all, anyone know where I can get my dash flocked in Melbourne. I'm not having much luck finding someone to do it, and want it done soon...

Cheers

Try Kenneth Ayres:

They make jewellery boxes and have a flocking machine that can do many other things.

Not sure if it helps Dane-O, but I just found these 4 places in the yellow pages.

Thanks a lot for that guys and gals!

Concept coatings no longer exist, but Flock finishers do it, so I'll pop down there.

Similar, but it's not a mat of material, it's like small suede particles. Not sure what the cost is yet, I'll find out tomorrow and let you know.

should cost u no more the 15-20 per panel,
if your a smoker its not recommended to smoke in the car for a couple of weeks. as basically the whole idea of flocking is that they use glue and electrostatic to bind the suade like particles onto what ever panel you want done. ..
u can ask then do flock it a lil thicker cos if they only do 1 layer it will wear very quickly. for a good effect and longevity, 2 layers. BUT if its to thick you will need to trim some of the flocking of when u stick the panel back on to make it stick

Nah, going to leave them as they are. I'll take them out eventually and replace them with ally sheets, then have them flocked.
