ive just been checking the new google maps street view. it friggin awesome! i can pull up right out the front of my house, and even walk down my street. it freaked me out!
has anyone else had a crack at it yet? you just goto google, then click on maps, then type in the desired adress, let it load, then click on street view. warning.... you will be freaked out!. cheers, matty. -------------------- |

 Good if you're going to a place youve never been before and already you know exactly what it looks like. Devo that the stupid street view wont go to my house though...it goes to the corner of my street, only just see my car haha. they have been doing taking the pictures for about a year or so. but they just launched the site today. so some pic are a bit old.

Google comes up with the most amazing stuff all the time.
But yeah the photos are not up to date as I sold my skyline 4 months ago and its still sitting in my old house in the drive way  -------------------- Are you an international OR masters uni student in Melbourne needing concession travel?? Msg me!

There is a google van that drives around with about 10 cameras on the roof. Easy to spot it if you see it.
They've had the street view in the states for ages now, very cool feature, only found it on AU maps this morning --------------------  Calder - Isn't that where those drag posers go? ;) Phillip Island - 1.48.9 not bad for me. Sandown - 1.22.44 first time there. Winton - 1.37.51 need to go faster. 1/4 Mile - something@120mph |
