Hi, I have an RB 30 Skyline. Can anyone help me out with instructions or point me in the right direction for instructions on how to replace the CAS. It appears the dizzy has to come out. Is this right or is there an easier way ? Any help appreciated. Cheers

Thanks for the response outatime. I am in the Shire MAG86

I have had this car 12 years and this is my 3rd time with CAS issues. 1st time was the optical sensor due to the Dizz bearing rusting. Very common fault apparently. If you find rust in there replace the Dizzy bearing or your new sensor will foul as well. 2nd time I had issues I noticed the boot and harness worn out going to the CAS on top of the Dizzy and had it replaced. This is apparently very common as well. Anyway I was outatime myself last weekend when the problem started. I had to go up the coast and didnt have time to pull the Diz and replace CAS with a spare I have. Anyway I fired up the compressor and for the hell of it just blew off all over inside the diz. Musta been some dust on the optical sensor or the plate. Although I had starting problems 3 times and the car dieing on the road twice when I got back from the coast I started her up and she has not missed a beat since.
Thanks for your replies
