does anyone else have this?

mine drops out heaps. so does my brothers. and brother in law.

please discuss, i think i will try and cancel mine.

Depending on where u are and how often, these drop outs are being addressed and towers being upgraded to provide 3G coverage to all 2.5g towers by end of dec.

Had modem replaced, etc. Did nothing.

same as you guys, download speed drops to 0, uploads still run tho... i've found that if i have download sofware running in the background (eg: torrents) it seems to stay connected... also their gprs network is shit, speed is slower than dialup but at least it doesnt drop out!

yep this yet another useless service by vodafone. i just cancelled mine yesterday. just moved house and got cable internet its so amazing to the old useless vodafone.

I work for Virgin Broadband. Vodafone shares the towers at certain times. Upgrades are being performed turning red zones to green zones to make the 3G signal more reliable.

You have to understand that the towers have a limited capacity, and they are used my mobile phone browsers, mobile voice calls, various broadband services etc etc.

So i will admit there is congestion, but it will be tended to as soon as these the network upgrades are complete.

Had the same problems with vodafone so i cancelled. They cant seem to do anything right at the moment
