About the car:
The car is a special model of the JZX81 called the "MarkII Yamaha Special" one of only 300 produced from toyota. It was used as a daily driver/slider by an associate of none other than D1 driver Tsuyoshi Tezuka, who's shop Kids Heart tuned the suspension set up for drift. It has also had a small feature in a Japanese drift magazine.

The Autronic has been setup with a very safe tune by a very experienced local Adelaide based tuner (before turbo rebuild/upgrade). Running BP Ultimate, the car makes 280rwkw on only 16psi (limiter set to 7500rpm) with excellent turbo response, making the 16psi @ ~3600rpm, and making 200rwkw by 4000rpm. This was on the old turbo, the rebuilt set up seems even more responsive again, making full boost at around 3000 rpm.

Some recent pics from the All Japan Day in April.

And also a few pics from todays private track day.

Had a bloody ball in the car.

Can't change a thing on it at all.

But might need to get some chewy to hold the rear bar back together.

Will have some footage of todays efforts up shortly.

And will have some pics from Round 3 DA this weekend.

Toodle pip boys and girls
