well being from one of the balkan countries myself...I support Serbia on this one...it is Serbian soil..How can the albanians just waltz in over many years and then decide enoughs enough..this is ours..piss off....very wrong...I do see another bloodbath coming..Serbia may not be able to afford it...however with Russia in their corner..anything is possible

Yeah, I'm with Serbia too... Not only is Kosovo populated by Serbs (I'll admit, a minority), but Kosovo is very symbolic to the foundation of Serbia and it's history, it is like taking Corinth or Salonika from Greece it is like Russia taking the Karelia from Finland... It just shouldn't be done.. If anything, Kosovo should be partitioned, then all the Serbs in one half and add the other half to Albania and have it unified with Albania, then no Albanians in Serbia/Kosovo and no Albanian minorities in Serbia... Simple...

Nothings ever that simple- Both parties at the border always lay claim to where the line should run. Just look at the situation in the middle east.

I don't really know enough about the history of it to make any judgements, but it doesn't look like the sort of thing that'll go away in a hurry now that the Albanians have seen fit to make such a brassy move.

That's because the British divided an entire sub-continent (The Middle East + Persia), without taking in accound certain religious (Jewish, Christian, Sunni/Shia) considerations, ethnical and tribal divides (Kurds, Arabs, Turks, Lebanese, Jews, Persians, Assyrians) and other political responsibilities (ie: promising BOTH the Jews and Palestine Arabs the protectorate the palestine)...

This Kosovo thing is a little different, I'll remind people that the Soviet Union forced 13 million German "Volksdeutche" from the Eastern European countries, many which had German communities for centuries, some of them over half a millenia old.. Many German people were forced from the Ukraine, Byelorussia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithiuania, Poland, Moldova, Romania, Hungary, the sutedenland and former German Silesia and also former German East and West Prussia.... Population exchange has been done in the past (ie: Greece and Turkey) and it has been proven to be the only adequate solution to territory disputes between countries...

This is an utter joke and explains why nobody in Europe can stand Albanians.

Just because they over populate a neighboring country does not give them the right to claim it as their own, that is ludicrous. They have their own degenerate country right next door, if you want to live on Albanian soil then piss off back home with the rest of your people.

Being from serbia, I support serbia no one in serbia is going to recognize kosovo as albanian territory. Many of my family generations fought against other part of yugoslavia to protect kosovo, not only that it is a symbolic place with alot of our orthodox churches.

I do not have hate for albanians even though they have burnt many of our churches down and put it on youtube, it's just not fair to my nationality because kosovo is apart of serbia.

I will definatley be supporting serbia in every aspect, there is meant to be a planned much down in sydney where alot of us serbians are going to be going on 1pm on sunday.

The sad thing is all its going to do is cause havoc, serbia has already said that if something begins happening to serbian people in kosovo because of this that they will protect there kind and step in, let's hope it doesn't come to that and make another war.

Serbia may not be able to afford it though they will protect there own kind if something does happen to happen. The truth is they have lost it before and they will re gain it again because it is apart of our history, it's just a matter of time.

on the topic of Kosovo, yes Kosovo should not have been given the green light to gain independance, if they can obtain independance then what about the Kurds, Basques, Cypriot Turks, Republika Srpska etc etc, are they too aloud to declare independance? Kosovo is a major player in exporting drugs and human trafficking, since 1999 the Albanians who control the drug trade and human trafficking have amassed huge amounts of wealth. Just proves that with money you can do anything.
