and here we are as of today.
I just got the motor back after the machine shop assembled - rb26 crank - cp pistons - standard 26 rods - ACL main/rod bearings - ARP main/rod bolts - honed cylinder walls - had the head/block hot tanked and resurfaced - rotating assembly balanced ( really don't think was necesary ) little over $500 later and BAM! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() i chose to tap the rear of the head to fit an external oil drain to the sump ![]() I'd like to have it in the car on mounts by this weekend, but more than likely will just paint the block, assemble it and get it ready for next weekend. I've still got to get my harness back, tap the oil pan for the return line, and port match ex and intake ports/manifolds. thx for looking! |

nice work man love your progress. How hard was it to source the NEO motor overthere? thx man, it's gettin there, still waiting on my harness to be sent back from being converted. taking waaaaayy too long as far as sourcing the motor, wasn't too hard, we have alot of importers who are able to get just about any motor. |
