SPONSORING : Tarmac Army/Delirium/Team Wheelworx

The exciting new colour schemes of the cars reflect the personality of the youthful team, and the stunning vehicles have been constructed with performance and reliability in mind. With cutting edge technology loaded on board, the all Nissan line up has been specifically designed with one thing in mind…….DRIFT! Dubbed the ‘Tarmac Army’, the Team is gearing up for another successful years sliding, starting with Round 1 at Barbagallo Raceway in WA. Stepping up to the Team leader role is 2006 Toyo Super Drift Champion/Xtreme Team Champion Linden Reynolds, last years biggest surprise package to come out of Super D. Driving his totally revamped R32 Skyline, ‘Lindo’ is itching to hit the track and make it two Championships in a row.

“I raced last year for my own goals, and achieved everything I wanted too”, explained Linden “this year, the exposure on offer is intense, and I plan make Team Wheelworx’s year a successful one”

Making the Team three is Linden’s two 2006 Xtreme Team Drift Champion team mates, and fellow Deli boys – Adam “Mayhem” May and ‘Turbo’ Tom Monkhouse. Tom heads back to the Toyo Series for another year, whilst Adam makes the huge step up from Super D last year. All the cars come from the Nissan garage, with Lindo running his R32/RB35 combo pumping over 290+kw. Mayhem will slide behind the wheel of a brand new S13.5 Silvia powered by a 300+kw RB25, whilst Turbo Tom will change from Mitsubishi Lancer to killer 180SX with a full house 250kw SR20 up front

“We really had to rush the car to get it on the track, and didn’t even have time for a wheel alignment! The ISC Coilovers bolted in and did the job from the start, and really surprised me. We adjusted the damper on the front during the weekend, this helped the response and turn-in dramatically. The next step will be to focus on the rear, we need to get some more grip so we will be doing some testing between rounds 1 and 2”.

“The Silvia was running the new ISC Coilovers front and rear, and the grip level was great. I felt more confident every lap I turned, and the stability in the final corner called the Dominator (280m left hand off camber sweeper) allowed me to really use the RB25’s power to full effect, I’m very impressed with the new set up”

“The new ISC Coilovers didn’t let me down. The spring rates worked wildly, and the car got better with every lap as I got a handle on the new setup. I couldn’t be happier”
